Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Brown Bear Lodge offers a quiet retreat from everyday life. Whether getting away just overnight or indulging in a week-long retreat, the Lodge will help you to relax and sit a spell.

This huge cabin has an extraordinary view, layers and layers of mountains that are up close to you, not distant. You can relax in the sun on the open deck or in the shade on the screened porch, picnic at the table that overlooks the magnificant mountains, play horseshoes, enjoy the hot tub, swing, or rocking chairs while outdoors.

If you want to stay indoors at the Lodge, you'll find 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Enjoy the pool table, cable TV with VCR and DVD, exercise room, gas log fireplace, or play games in the loft. The master suite has several windows to admire the moutains and a large master bath with shower and jetted tub. The upstairs bedroom has a large custom crafted wood bed and full bath, with a private screen in porch. An additional bedroom on the main floor has a Canadian Cedar log bed and French doors onto the screened in porch.
